Vehicle

A vehicle comprising a vehicle body which extends along an x-axis, a first end of the vehicle body and a second end of the vehicle body being spaced apart from one another along the x-axis;

• the vehicle body extending along a y-axis, a first side of the vehicle body and a second side of the vehicle body spaced apart from one another along the y-axis;
• the x-axis being at a right angles to the y-axis;
• the vehicle body extending along a z-axis, the z-axis being at right angles to the x-axis and y-axis, an upper side of the vehicle body and a lower side of the vehicle body spaced apart from one another along the z-axis;
• wherein along the first side and the second side of the vehicle body there are provided a first track assembly and a second track assembly respectively, each of the first track assembly and the second track assembly being coupled to the vehicle body so as to support the vehicle body above a substrate, and each of the first track assembly and the second track assembly comprising:
• a first track support wheel and a second track support wheel spaced apart from one another along the x-axis;
• and
• a continuous drive track carried by the drive track support wheels;
• the continuous drive track configured for distributing a track pressure induced by a downward force of the vehicle over the area of the continuous drive track in contact with the substrate to thereby support the vehicle on the substrate
• wherein the vehicle further comprises an actuator system;
• the actuator system is operable to vary the distribution of the track pressure along the continuous drive track of the first track assembly;
• and
• the actuator system is operable to vary the distribution of the track pressure along the continuous drive track of the second track assembly.
