Fastener Installation Tool, Installation Set, and Installation Method

An installation tool for installing a fastener in a structure comprising:

• a tool housing comprising an open front end and a rear end aligned along a first axis;
• a first sheath positioned close to the front end of the tool housing;
• the first sheath being movable in rotation and translation relative to the tool housing along the first axis;
• a second sheath positioned close to the rear end of the tool housing;
• the second sheath being movable in translation relative to the tool housing along the first axis;
• the second sheath being configured to drive the first sheath in translation relative to the tool housing;
• a first rotary shaft, accommodated in the tool housing;
• a first transmission device accommodated in the tool housing and connected to the first rotary shaft the first transmission device being able to drive the first sheath in rotation under the effect of rotation of the first rotary shaft in a first direction;
• a second transmission device accommodated in the tool housing and connected to the first rotary shaft, the second transmission device being able to drive the second sheath in translation under the effect of rotation of the first rotary shaft in a second direction, opposite to the first direction;
• and
• it comprises a tube, accommodated in the tool housing and extending along the first axis between an open front end and an open rear end each of the first and second sheaths being positioned around the tube;
• wherein the first rotary shaft extends along a second axis and the first and second axes are separated by a first non-zero distance.
