Abstract
A sample tray for thermal analysis includes a tray body including a plurality of wells, wherein each well is configured to receive a sample pan and a sample lid. The sample pan is configured to receive a sample for thermal analysis, wherein the sample lid is configured to be crimped to the sample pan to create a seal between the sample lid and the sample pan, and the tray body is configured to be received into an automated sample preparation system to prepare samples for thermal analysis. A method of manufacturing a sample tray is also disclosed.
Claims20
A sample tray for thermal analysis comprising:
- a tray body including a plurality of wells, wherein each well is configured to receive a sample pan and a sample lid,
- wherein the sample pan is configured to receive a sample for thermal analysis, wherein the sample lid is configured to be crimped to the sample pan to create a seal between the sample lid and the sample pan,
- wherein the tray body is configured to be received into an automated sample preparation system to prepare samples for thermal analysis.
A sample tray for thermal analysis comprising:
- a tray body including a plurality of wells;
- a plurality of sample pans, each individually located within one of the plurality of wells of the tray body;
- and
- a plurality of sample lids, each individually located within one of the plurality of wells of the tray body,
- wherein each of the plurality of sample lids are located below one of the plurality of sample pans within each of the plurality of wells.
A method of manufacturing a sample tray for thermal analysis comprising:
- injection molding a tray body including a plurality of wells wherein each well is configured to receive a sample pan and a sample lid,
- wherein the sample pan is configured to receive a sample for thermal analysis, wherein the sample lid is configured to be crimped to the sample pan to create a seal between the sample lid and the sample pan,
- wherein the tray body is configured to be received into an automated sample preparation for thermal analysis.
