Method and device for pelvic floor tissue treatment

A method for a female genital tissue treatment comprising:

• providing an applicator comprising an external part and an internal part, the internal part being detachably coupleable to the external part;
• providing a rotational apparatus comprising a motor configured to rotate the internal part;
• assembling the applicator comprising the external part and the internal part;
• wherein the internal part includes a first electrode and a second electrode;
• wherein the first electrode is configured to apply a radiofrequency energy and the second electrode is configured to apply an electric energy different from the radiofrequency energy;
• inserting the internal part into the female genital tissue;
• controlling the radiofrequency energy, the electric energy and the motor by a control unit;
• and
• performing an automated rotational movement of the internal part during the treatment.

A method for a female genital tissue treatment comprising:

• providing an applicator comprising an external part and an internal part, the internal part being detachably coupleable to the external part;
• providing a linear actuator configured to move the internal part in a linear manner;
• assembling the applicator comprising the external part and the internal part;
• wherein the internal part includes a first energy delivery element;
• inserting the internal part having a length in a range of 0.75 cm to 20 cm at least partially into the female genital tissue;
• applying an energy into the female genital tissue by the first energy delivery element to provide a therapeutic effect;
• controlling the first energy delivery element and the linear actuator by a control unit;
• and
• performing an automated linear movement of the internal part during the treatment.
