Cover fastening element, sterile cover film, cover fastening system, cover system, and surgical robot with cover

A surgical robot for a surgical procedure on a patient, the surgical robot comprising:

• a robot arm attached to a robot base and a robot head attached to the robot arm, the robot arm having at least one motorized robot arm segment;
• a plurality of navigation markers arranged on a surface of the at least one motorized robot arm segment and/or on the robot head, each of the navigation markers at least partially protruding with respect to the surface, at least one of the navigation markers comprising an LED fastening interface;
• a surgical sterile cover film adapted to be placed over the navigation markers;
• and
• a plurality of cover fastening elements interacting with the surgical sterile cover film and being releasably coupleable to and uncoupleable from the navigation markers via the LED fastening interface, each of the cover fastening elements having an opening along a longitudinal axis from an underside to an upper side of the cover fastening element, into which opening one of the navigation markers is introducible, each of the cover fastening elements having a cover fastening interface at an underside of the cover fastening element, the cover fastening interface being complementary to the LED fastening interface, each cover fastening element being releasably fastenable, force-fittingly and/or form-fittingly, via the cover fastening interface, and the cover fastening interface interacting with the LED fastening interface to fasten and secure a part of the surgical sterile cover film to the navigation markers.
