Aqueous herbicidal concentrates

An aqueous herbicidal concentrate composition comprising:

• an acetanilide herbicide comprising acetochlor;
• a water-soluble protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor (PPO inhibitor);
• microcapsules comprising a core material comprising a portion of the acetanilide herbicide and a shell wall material encapsulating the core material formed by reacting a polyamine component and a polyisocyanate component, wherein the polyamine component comprises triethylenetetramine;
• an aqueous phase comprising a portion of the acetanilide herbicide and at least a portion of the water-soluble PPO inhibitor;
• a structure-breaking agent comprising urea;
• a pH buffer comprising citric acid;
• and
• a combination dispersants comprising a naphthalene sulfonate condensate and a maleic acid-olefin copolymer, wherein:
• the concentration of acetochlor on an active ingredient basis is from about 30 wt. % to about 35 wt. %;
• and
• the concentration of the PPO inhibitor on an active ingredient basis is from about 6 wt. % to about 10 wt. %.
