A process for re-using or rejuvenating a perovskite-based device comprising (i) a layered scaffold structure having a top layer of a conductive indium tin oxide (ITO) or fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO), and (ii) a top-most layer of at least one first perovskite material being directly positioned on top of the layer of ITO/FTO, the process comprising
- treating the device under conditions that selectively remove the layer of the at least one perovskite material, without damaging the ITO/FTO layer, and
- forming a new layer of at least one second perovskite material on said ITO/FTO layer permitting penetration of said second perovskite material through all scaffold layers.
A process for re-using or rejuvenating a perovskite-based device comprising (i) a layered scaffold structure having a top layer of a conductive indium tin oxide (ITO), and (ii) a top-most layer of at least one first perovskite material being directly positioned on top of the layer of ITO, the process comprising treating the device with DMF thereby selectively removing the layer of the at least one perovskite material, without damaging the ITO layer, and
- forming a new layer of at least one second perovskite material on said ITO/FTO layer permitting penetration of said second perovskite material through all scaffold layers;
- wherein the ITO layer is formed by printing an ITO paste as a top layer of said layered scaffold structure and sintering same.
