Abstract

The present disclosure provides a communication control method applied to an Optical Line Terminal (OLT), including: receiving a Forward Error Correction (FEC) code capability set reported by an Optical Network Unit (ONU); issuing a binding strategy to the ONU according to the FEC code capability set, the binding strategy representing a binding relationship between an FEC code in the FEC code capability set and a burst profile index; and instructing the ONU to perform FEC code switching. The present disclosure further provides a communication control method applied to an ONU, including: reporting an FEC code capability set; receiving a binding strategy issued by an OLT; and performing FEC code switching as instructed by the OLT. The present disclosure further provides an OLT, an ONU, and a computer-readable medium.
