Abstract
Aspects of electronic illuminator systems and methods are disclosed herein, including subsystems, methods of use, and computer-readable media thereof. In one aspect, a system includes a fiber detection assembly. The system further includes a cap color detection assembly. The system further includes a printed circuit board connected to the fiber detection assembly and the cap color detection assembly. The system is configured to illuminate a cable engaged with the system with an effect corresponding to the cable upon authenticating the cable.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a fiber detection assembly;
- a cap color detection assembly;
- and
- a printed circuit board connected to the fiber detection assembly and the cap color detection assembly,
- wherein the system is configured to illuminate a line engaged with the system with an effect corresponding to the line upon authenticating the line.
A method comprising:
- detecting a line engaged with a system using a fiber detection assembly or a cap color detection assembly of the system,
- authenticating the line using the fiber detection assembly or the cap color detection assembly;
- and
- upon authenticating the line, illuminating the line engaged with the system with an effect corresponding to the line.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by at least one processor, are configured for:
- detecting a line engaged with a system using a fiber detection assembly or a cap color detection assembly of the system,
- authenticating the line using the fiber detection assembly or the cap color detection assembly;
- and
- upon authenticating the line, illuminating the line engaged with the system with an effect corresponding to the line.
