A method of producing a plurality of pentameric and/or decameric capsomers, the method comprising:
- (a) providing a mixture comprising a plurality of Anellovirus ORF1 molecules and a chaotropic agent;
- and
- (b) incubating the mixture,
- thereby producing the plurality of pentameric and/or decameric capsomers.
