Claims30
A printing apparatus operable by receiving power supply from a device connected via a wired connection, the printing apparatus comprising:
- one or more controllers including one or more processors and one or more memories, wherein the one or more controllers are configured to:
- determine a power supply level of the power supply;
- set a printing mode based on the determined power supply level;
- and
- control printing based on the set printing mode.
A method of controlling a printing apparatus operable by power supply from an interface while being connected by a wired connection via the interface, the method comprising:
- determining a standard of the interface;
- determining a power supply level indicating a state of power supply from the interface;
- setting a printing mode based on the determined standard of the interface and the determined power supply level;
- and
- executing printing in accordance with a print job based on the set printing mode.
A method of controlling a printing apparatus operable by receiving power supply from a device connected via a wired connection, the method comprising:
- determining a power supply level of the power supply;
- and
- performing control so as to set a printing mode based on the determined power supply level and execute printing,
- wherein, in the control, printing is executed in a first printing mode in a case where the power supply level is a first power supply level, printing is executed in a second printing mode in a case where the power supply level is a second power supply level which is lower than the first power supply level, and printing is executed in a third printing mode in a case where the power supply level is a third power supply level which is lower than the second power supply level.
