Abstract
A recording device includes a recording head that performs recording on a medium; a carriage that includes the recording head and that moves in a first direction which is a direction along a first axis and a second direction which is a direction along the first axis and which is opposite to the first direction; and an endless belt configured to pull the carriage in the first direction and in the second direction, wherein the carriage includes a belt fixing section that fixes the endless belt and a belt accommodation section that accommodates a part of the endless belt in a curved manner.

A recording device comprising:
- a recording head that performs recording on a medium;
- a carriage that includes the recording head and that moves in a first direction which is a direction along a first axis and a second direction which is a direction along the first axis and which is opposite to the first direction;
- and
- an endless belt configured to pull the carriage in the first direction and in the second direction, wherein
- the carriage includes
- a belt fixing section that fixes the endless belt and
- a belt accommodation section that accommodates a part of the endless belt in a curved manner.
