Abstract
A system and method for polishing screens on electronic products can include a turntable for receiving at least one electronic product, an air source for coupling and providing air or a non-liquid fluid to a port of the electronic product, and an interface serving as a port for the air source. The air source in such embodiments provides a positive pressure environment to an internal area or volume of the one or more electronic products during a polishing function.
Claims20
A system for polishing screens on electronic products, comprising:
- a turntable for receiving a carrying case for at least one electronic product having a screen, the carrying case further including a interchangeable interface and gasket wherein the interchangeable interface of the carrying case accommodates different port configurations for the at least one electronic product;
- an air source for coupling and providing air to a port of the at least one electronic product;
- an interface serving as a port via the interchangeable interface of the carrying case between the air source and an internal area or volume of the at least one electronic product during a polishing function;
- and
- wherein the air source provides a positive pressure environment to the internal area or volume of the at least one electronic product during the polishing function.
A system for polishing screens on electronic products in the form of mobile phones, smart phones, watches, tablets or smart glasses, comprising:
- a turntable having at least one cavity shaped for receiving a carrying case for at least one electronic product having a screen, the carrying case further including a interchangeable interface and gasket wherein the interchangeable interface of the carrying case accommodates different port configurations for the at least one electronic product;
- an air source for coupling and providing a non-liquid fluid to a port of the at least one electronic product via at least one pin connection wherein the air source provides a positive pressure environment to an internal area of the at least one electronic product during a polishing function;
- and
- an interface serving as a port via the interchangeable interface of the carrying case between the air source and the internal area of the the at least one electronic product via the at least one pin connection.
A method for polishing screens on electronic products that have screens, comprising:
- receiving at least one electronic product in a mounting area of a turntable;
- providing an air source for coupling and providing air to a port of the at least one electronic product;
- providing an interface serving as a port from the air source to the port of the at least one electronic product;
- and
- wherein the air source provides a positive pressure environment to an internal area of the at least one electronic product during a polishing function.
