1-52. (canceled)
A system comprising:
- a primary anchor configured to engage tissue;
- a coaptation assistance device comprising a support structure comprising a plurality of supports and an anchoring projection, wherein the anchoring projection extends upward from the plurality of supports, wherein the primary anchor is configured to extend through the anchoring projection, wherein the coaptation assistance device comprises a superior edge, an inferior edge, and lateral edges extending between the superior edge and the inferior edge, wherein the coaptation assistance device comprises a first surface configured to be disposed toward a posterior leaflet, wherein the coaptation assistance device comprises a second surface configured to be disposed toward an anterior leaflet, wherein the first surface and the second surface are bounded by the superior edge, the inferior edge, and the lateral edges.
A system comprising:
- a primary anchor configured to engage tissue;
- a coaptation assistance device comprising a support structure comprising a first zone that is generally oriented substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the coaptation assistance device, and a second zone that is generally oriented substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the coaptation assistance device, wherein the coaptation assistance device comprises an anchoring projection extending upward from the second zone, wherein the coaptation assistance device comprises a superior edge, an inferior edge, and lateral edges extending between the superior edge and the inferior edge, wherein the coaptation assistance device comprises a first surface configured to be disposed toward a posterior leaflet, wherein the coaptation assistance device comprises a second surface configured to be disposed toward an anterior leaflet, wherein the first surface and the second surface are bounded by the superior edge, the inferior edge, and the lateral edges.
A system comprising:
- a primary anchor;
- a coaptation assistance device comprising a support structure comprising a first support, a second support, a third support, and an anchoring projection, wherein the anchoring projection extends upward from the first support, the second support, and the third support, wherein the primary anchor is configured to secure the coaptation assistance device to an annulus, wherein the coaptation assistance device comprises a superior edge, an inferior edge, and lateral edges extending between the superior edge and the inferior edge, wherein the coaptation assistance device comprises a first surface configured to be disposed toward a posterior leaflet, wherein the coaptation assistance device comprises a second surface configured to be disposed toward an anterior leaflet, wherein the first surface and the second surface are bounded by the superior edge, the inferior edge, and the lateral edges.
