Abstract
Feed compositions include one or more vitamin D3 compounds selected from 1-α-hydroxy vitamin D3, 25-hydroxy vitamin D3, and/or 1-α-,25-dihydroxy vitamin D3 in an amount sufficient to improve milk quality and/or to increase milk yield of a ruminant animal.

A feed composition which comprises one or more vitamin D3 compounds selected from the group 1-α-hydroxy vitamin D3, 25-hydroxy vitamin D3, 1-α-,25-dihydroxy vitamin D3 in an amount sufficient to improve milk quality and/or to increase milk yield of a ruminant.
