Abstract
A system for initiating a command of an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft includes a flight controller configured to receive a topographical datum, receive a sensor datum from a sensor, identify an air position as a function of the sensor datum and the topographical datum, determine a command, including an actuator command, as a function of the identified air position and the determining of the command includes identifying at least one flight component of the eVTOL aircraft to be adjusted to perform the determined command, and initiate the command to adjust the identified flight component.
Claims20
A system for initiating a command of an electric aircraft, the system comprising:
- a flight controller configured to:
- identify an air position based on a comparison of a visual representation of a physical feature collected at the electric aircraft and a historical visual representation of the physical feature, wherein the air position comprises a first distance that represents a first height of the electric aircraft above a physical feature and a second distance that represents a second height of the physical feature above ground or sea level;
- determine, based on the air position, a flight component command to adjust a flight component of the electric aircraft;
- and
- initiate the flight component command.
A method for initiating a command of an electric aircraft, the method comprising:
- identifying, at a flight controller, an air position based at least in part on a comparison of an image of a physical feature collected at the electric aircraft and a historical image of the physical feature, wherein the air position comprises a first distance that represents a first height of the electric aircraft above a physical feature and a second distance that represents a second height of the physical feature above ground or sea level;
- determining, at the flight controller, based at least in part on the air position, a flight component command to adjust a flight component configured at the electric aircraft;
- and
- initiating, at the flight controller, the flight component command.
An electric aircraft comprising:
- a flight component;
- and
- a flight controller configured to:
- identify an air position based at least in part on a comparison of an image of a physical feature collected at the electric aircraft and a historical image of the physical feature, wherein the air position comprises a first distance that represents a first height of the electric aircraft above a physical feature and a second distance that represents a second height of the physical feature above ground or sea level;
- determine, based at least in part on the air position, a flight component command to adjust the flight component;
- and
- initiate the flight component command.
