Mobile Viewer Object Statusing

A non-transitory computer-readable medium, wherein the non-transitory computer-readable medium is provisioned with program instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a computing platform to:

• maintain a federated model of a construction project, wherein the model comprises respective objects created using at least two different authoring tools;
• receive, via a first client device, an indication of a user request to assign a value for a property of a given object within the model;
• identify a globally unique identifier (GUID) that uniquely identifies the given object within a data structure for the model;
• cause the model to be updated by associating the assigned value for the property of the given object with the GUID that uniquely identifies the given object;
• and
• cause a second client device to display, via a viewing tool, a representation of the updated model comprising an indication of the assigned value for the property of the given object.

A method implemented by a computing platform, the method comprising:

• maintaining a federated model of a construction project, wherein the model comprises respective objects created using at least two different authoring tools;
• receiving, via a first client device, an indication of a user request to assign a value for a property of a given object within the model;
• identifying a globally unique identifier (GUID) that uniquely identifies the given object within a data structure for the model;
• causing the model to be updated by associating the assigned value for the property of the given object with the GUID that uniquely identifies the given object;
• and
• causing a second client device to display, via a viewing tool, a representation of the updated model comprising an indication of the assigned value for the property of the given object.
