Abstract
A pneumatic tire includes a tread. The tread includes a pair of shoulder main grooves, and shoulder ribs disposed further outward in the tire axial direction relative to the shoulder main grooves, respectively. Each of the shoulder ribs includes a slit that extends in a direction intersecting the shoulder main grooves and terminates within the shoulder rib. The slit has an inward end in the tire axial direction, and the inward end is disposed further inward in the tire axial direction relative to a contact end of the tread. The tread includes a contact patch having a rectangle ratio A of 0.6 or more and 0.7 or less.

A pneumatic tire comprising a tread,
- the tread including a pair of shoulder main grooves and shoulder ribs disposed further outward in the tire axial direction relative to the shoulder main grooves, wherein
- each of the shoulder ribs includes a slit that extends in a direction intersecting the shoulder main groove and terminates within the shoulder rib,
- the slit has an inward end in the tire axial direction, the inward end being disposed further inward in the tire axial direction relative to a contact end of the tread, and
- the tread includes a contact patch having a rectangle ratio A of 0.6 or more and 0.7 or less.
