Abstract
The present subject matter provides a wax applicator configured to apply heated wax onto a skin of a user for hair removal, the wax applicator comprising: a wax chamber having an opening; a heating element attached to the wax chamber, configured to heat the wax in the wax chamber, thus giving rise to melted wax; and a pushing element configured to push the melted wax out of the wax chamber through an of the opening, wherein an component of the wax applicator is electrically operated, and the electrically operated component is electrically connected to an electrical power supply. Additional embodiments of the wax applicator, and a method of applying heated wax onto a skin of a user for hair removal with the wax applicator, are disclosed herein as well.
Claims20
A wax capsule comprising:
- a solid depilatory resin configured to melt upon heating for application onto skin for hair removal;
- an elongated shape insertable into a chamber of a wax applicator and pushable by a piston towards an application head of the wax applicator.
A method for removal of unwanted body hair, the method comprising:
- inserting a wax capsule into a wax chamber of a wax applicator;
- heating at least part of the wax capsule with a heating element enclosed within the wax applicator;
- and
- applying the heated wax to skin of a user via an applicator head of the wax applicator.
