Abstract
An electronic device includes a first housing; a second housing including a fitting portion, and an elastic body. The first housing includes at least one fitted portion configured to be fitted to the fitting portion by being slid along a first direction, and a first housing side peripheral edge portion provided on a peripheral edge of the first housing, and the elastic body is positioned between the fitted portion and the first housing side peripheral edge portion during the fitting.

An electronic device comprising:
- a first housing;
- a second housing including a fitting portion;
- and
- an elastic body,
- wherein the first housing includes:
- at least one fitted portion configured to be fitted to the fitting portion by being slid along a first direction;
- and
- a first housing side peripheral edge portion provided on a peripheral edge of the first housing, and
- wherein the elastic body is positioned between the fitted portion and the first housing side peripheral edge portion during the fitting,
- wherein one of the first housing and the second housing further includes a display surface configured to display information to a user, and
- wherein the first housing side peripheral edge portion is formed by a surface substantially parallel to the display surface.
