Abstract
An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate, a charge generation layer that is disposed on the conductive substrate, a charge transport layer that is disposed on the charge generation layer, and an inorganic protective layer that is disposed on the charge transport layer, in which a capacitance (X1) of the charge transport layer per unit area is 0.90×10−6 (F/m2) or more and 1.90×10−6 (F/m2) or less, and a capacitance (X2) of the inorganic protective layer per unit area is 2.40×10−5 (F/m2) or more and 1.10×10−4 (F/m2) or less.
