Abstract
A binding processing device includes: a paper support unit that supports a paper bundle; a pressing unit that presses the paper bundle; and a binding processing unit that performs binding processing by moving binding teeth toward the paper bundle to apply pressure to the paper bundle, the binding processing unit moving from a binding position of the paper bundle while the paper bundle is being pressed by the pressing unit.

A binding processing device comprising:
- a paper support unit that supports a paper bundle;
- a pressing unit that presses the paper bundle;
- and
- a binding processing unit that performs binding processing by moving binding teeth toward the paper bundle to apply pressure to the paper bundle, the binding processing unit moving from a binding position of the paper bundle while the paper bundle is being pressed by the pressing unit.
