Brightness adjustment system and method, and electronic device

A brightness adjustment system, comprising:

• a first electronic device;
• and
• a second electronic device;
• wherein:
• the first electronic device is configured to, in response to a first operation triggered on a first display of the first electronic device, display a first area and a second area on the first display, wherein the first operation initiates adjusting display brightness of a second display of the second electronic device, the first area and the second area each are covered with a mask, display brightness of the first area after covering with the mask is equal to display brightness of the first display before covering with the mask, or perceived brightness of the first area after covering with the mask is equal to perceived brightness of the first display before covering with the mask, and display brightness of the second area after covering with the mask is equal to the display brightness of the second display, and adjust transparency of the mask in the second area based on the first target brightness or perceived brightness of the second area after covering with the mask is equal to perceived brightness of the second display;
• and
• the second electronic device is configured to determine first target brightness, adjust the display brightness of the second display based on the first target brightness, and send the first target brightness to the first electronic device.
