Abstract
A gas feedthrough for a chromatograph device includes a hub configured to receive a fluid sample and interface with a fluid receiver, the hub including a first surface; and a plurality of fluid channels including a fluid sample channel configured to carry the fluid sample, a vent channel configured to carry a vented fluid, and a carrier channel configured to carry a carrier fluid. Each of the plurality of fluid channels terminate at a respective interface point on the first surface. The respective interface points of the plurality of fluid channels are arranged on the first surface in at least one arc.
Claims20
A system for a gas chromatograph device, comprising:
- a gas feedthrough, comprising:
- a hub configured to receive a fluid sample and interface with a fluid receiver, the hub comprising a first surface;
- and
- a plurality of fluid channels comprising a fluid sample channel configured to carry the fluid sample, a vent channel configured to carry a vented fluid, and a carrier channel configured to carry a carrier fluid, each of the plurality of fluid channels terminating at a respective interface point on the first surface,
- wherein the respective interface points of the plurality of fluid channels are arranged on the first surface in at least one arc;
- a manifold plate comprising the fluid receiver, the fluid receiver comprising a plurality of receiver channels configured to receive the fluid sample and the carrier fluid, and a plurality of venting channels configured to provide the vented fluid, wherein the manifold plate is configured to:
- deliver, via the plurality of receiver channels, the fluid sample to a first analytical module;
- and
- receive, using the plurality of venting channels, the fluid sample from the first analytical module, and
- the first analytical module affixed to the manifold plate, the first analytical module comprising a first gas chromatograph oven and one or more sensors, wherein the first analytical module is configured to:
- obtain, for the first gas chromatograph oven, the fluid sample from the plurality of receiver channels and expel the fluid sample using the plurality of venting channels after measuring an attribute of the fluid sample.
A gas feedthrough for a chromatograph device, comprising:
- a hub configured to receive a fluid sample and interface with a fluid receiver, the hub comprising a first surface;
- and
- a plurality of fluid channels comprising a fluid sample channel configured to carry the fluid sample, a vent channel configured to carry a vented fluid, and a carrier channel configured to carry a carrier fluid, each of the plurality of fluid channels terminating at a respective interface point on the first surface,
- wherein the respective interface points of the plurality of fluid channels are arranged on the first surface in at least one arc.
