Corewinder To Form A Log Core, Process To Form Such A Core, And Tissue Paper Logs With Said Core

an unwinding station adapted to unwind two or more reels of a cardboard strip;

• a forming station downstream of the unwinding station;
• the forming station being adapted to spirally wind at least an upper strip and a lower strip being unwound from the reels one on the other, joining them to form a tube;
• a cutting station downstream of the forming station;
• the cutting station being configured to cut the tube being formed to obtain a core;
• and a dispenser assembly for an adhesive film, the dispenser assembly being configured to unwind an adhesive film connectable to the upper strip such that the upper strip is at least partially covered by the adhesive film.

A process for forming a core for tissue paper logs from cardboard strips, the process comprising the steps of:

• unwinding two or more reels of a cardboard strip;
• spirally winding at least an upper strip and a lower strip being unwound from the reels one on the other, joining them to form a tube;
• unwinding an adhesive film connectable to the upper strip to obtain a core at least partially covered by the adhesive film;
• and cutting the tube being formed.

Tissue paper log comprising:

• a core comprising:
• at least a cardboard upper strip and a cardboard lower strip spirally wound one on the other and joined together;
• an adhesive film placed at least partially as a cover of the upper strip;
• and
• at least one tissue paper ply continuously wound in spirals on the core.
