Abstract
A surgical device has a shaft including a proximal portion and a distal portion being disposable with a surgical robot guide to engage vertebral tissue. The proximal portion defines a detectable marker and is connectable with at least one surgical instrument for manipulating the vertebral tissue. Systems, surgical instruments, spinal implants, constructs and methods are disclosed.

A method for treating a spine, the method comprising:
- providing a screw comprising a threaded distal portion and a proximal portion, the screw extending along a longitudinal axis between the distal portion and the proximal portion;
- connecting a driver to a surgical robot guide;
- connecting the proximal portion to the driver;
- moving the driver relative to a patient using the surgical robot guide;
- and
- rotating the screw using the driver such that the screw rotates relative to the surgical robot guide.

A method for treating a spine, the method comprising:
- providing a screw comprising a threaded distal portion and a proximal portion, the screw extending along a longitudinal axis between the distal portion and the proximal portion;
- connecting a driver to a surgical robot guide;
- coupling an end effector to an end of the surgical robot guide such that the end effector is immovable relative to the end of the surgical robot guide, the end effector defining a channel, the driver being positioned in the channel;
- connecting the proximal portion to the driver;
- moving the driver relative to a patient using the surgical robot guide;
- rotating the screw using the driver such that the screw rotates relative to the surgical robot guide;
- and
- manipulating the driver to rotate a first vertebra of the vertebral tissue relative to a second vertebra.

A method for treating a spine, the method comprising:
- providing a screw comprising a threaded distal portion and a proximal portion, the screw extending along a longitudinal axis between the distal portion and the proximal portion;
- connecting a driver to a surgical robot guide;
- positioning the surgical robot guide within an opening of an imaging capturing portion defined by an inner surface of the imaging capturing portion such that the inner surface extends 360 degrees about the surgical robot guide;
- connecting the proximal portion to the driver;
- moving the driver relative to a patient using the surgical robot guide;
- rotating the screw using the driver such that the screw rotates relative to the surgical robot guide;
- generating a signal representative of a position of the screw relative to tissue with a navigation component of the driver;
- and
- manipulating the driver to rotate a first vertebra of the vertebral tissue relative to a second vertebra.
