The first region, the second region, and the third region are connected.

A method of producing a shoe upper, comprising:
- providing a first sheet,
- providing a second sheet,
- connecting the first sheet to the second sheet in a connecting region, and
- applying a first coating onto a first region of the first sheet, a second region of the second sheet, and a third region of the connecting region, wherein the first region, the second region, and the third region are connected.
