Abstract
A mobile agricultural machine receives a topographic map indicative of topographic characteristics of a worksite, wherein the topographic characteristics are based on data collected at or prior to a first time and receiving supplemental data indicative of characteristics relative to the worksite, the supplemental data collected after the first time. A topographic confidence output is generated which is indicative of a confidence level in the topographic characteristics of the worksite as indicated by the topographic map, based on the topographic map and the supplemental data. In some examples, an action signal is generated to control an action based on the topographic confidence output.
Claims20
An agricultural system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions executable by the one or more processors that, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the one or more processors to:
- obtain a topographic map of a worksite, the topographic map mapping values of a topographic characteristic to different geographic locations across the worksite, wherein the values of the topographic characteristic, in the topographic map, are based on data obtained at or prior to a first time;
- obtain supplemental data corresponding to the worksite, the supplemental data obtained after the first time;
- generate a topographic confidence output, based, at least, on the supplemental data, the topographic confidence output including a confidence level indicative of a confidence in at least one value of the topographic characteristic of the values of the topographic characteristic in the topographic map;
- and
- control a mobile agricultural machine based on the topographic confidence output.
An agricultural system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions executable by the one or more processors that, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the one or more processors to:
- obtain a topographic map of a worksite, the topographic map mapping values of a topographic characteristic to different geographic locations across the worksite, wherein the values of the topographic characteristic, in the topographic map, are based on data obtained at or prior to a first time;
- obtain supplemental data corresponding to the worksite, the supplemental data obtained after the first time;
- determine a change in at least one value of the topographic characteristic of the values of the topographic characteristic in the topographic map based on the supplemental data;
- and
- control a mobile agricultural machine during an operation at the worksite based on the determined change in the at least one value of the topographic characteristic.
An agricultural system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions executable by the one or more processors that, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the one or more processors to:
- obtain a topographic map of a worksite, the topographic map mapping values of a topographic characteristic to different geographic locations across the worksite, wherein the values of the topographic characteristic, in the topographic map, are based on data obtained at or prior to a first time;
- obtain supplemental data corresponding to the worksite, the supplemental data obtained after the first time;
- determine a change in a first value of the topographic characteristic, of the values of the topographic characteristic in the topographic map, corresponding to a first geographic location at the worksite based, at least, on the supplemental data;
- and
- determine a change in a second value of the topographic characteristic, of the values of the topographic characteristic in the topographic map, corresponding to a second geographic location at the worksite based, at least, on the determined change to the first value of the topographic characteristic corresponding to the first geographic location;
- and
- control a mobile agricultural machine during an operation at the worksite based on the determined change in the at least one value of the topographic characteristic.
