Dummy light transmission method, dummy light identification method, and related device

A method comprising:

• receiving transmitted light through an optical fiber, wherein the transmitted light is distributed in a plurality of bands;
• obtaining a spectral feature of the transmitted light;
• and
• performing spectrum analysis on the spectral feature of the transmitted light, to determine that transmitted light that is in a target band and that has a preset spectral feature in the transmitted light is dummy light.

A light emitting apparatus, comprising:

• a light source configured to generate first multi-wavelength dummy light, wherein the first multi-wavelength dummy light is distributed in a plurality of bands;
• a processor;
• and
• a light emitter,
• the processor is configured to:
• perform spectrum shaping on the first multi-wavelength dummy light to obtain second multi-wavelength dummy light, wherein a spectral feature of the second multi-wavelength dummy light is different from a spectral feature of service light;
• and
• obtain target dummy light from the second multi-wavelength dummy light, wherein a band of the target dummy light is different from a band of the service light;
• and
• the light emitter is configured to emit the service light and the target dummy light through an optical fiber.
