Abstract

A fence panel coupler includes a first coupling member having first and second connector portions, each having an opening for receiving first fence post and a second fence posts. A second coupling member includes third and fourth connector portions, also with openings for receiving the first and second fence posts. The first and second coupling members are applied to the fence posts in an insertion first direction and moved together to a closed configuration in a second direction perpendicular to the insertion direction. Integral locking elements lock the first and second coupling members together in the closed configuration. The connector portions cooperate to surround the fence posts and prevent removal of the fence post coupler from the fence posts.
