Abstract
Provided is an anchor coating agent which is excellent in storage stability and can form an anchor coat layer excellent in inkjet printability, coating film durability, and hiding power. The present invention relates to an anchor coating agent containing a white pigment, an ionic salt, and an aqueous resin having an acid value of 50 mgKOH/g or less.

A method of printing on a substrate selected from the group consisting of linerboard and corrugated cardboard, comprising:
- coating a surface of the substrate with an anchor coating agent to form a single anchor coat layer;
- and
- forming a printed layer on the single anchor coat layer, wherein
- the anchor coating agent comprises a white pigment, an ionic salt, and an aqueous resin having an acid value of 50 mgKOH/g or less.
