Abstract
A ring-type wearable device is disclosed. The disclosed ring-type wearable device comprises: an outer ring member; an inner ring member separably inserted into the outer ring member; a sensor unit disposed in the outer ring member; and a control unit disposed in the outer ring member so as to be electrically connected to the sensor unit, wherein the sensor unit can maintain constant sensitivity in correspondence to the thickness of the inner ring member.
Claims11
A ring-type wearable device comprising:
- a cover member;
- a ring member surrounded by the cover member, the ring member including a plurality of openings formed through an inner surface of the ring member, the plurality of openings including a first opening, a second opening, and a third opening separated from each other;
- and
- a circuit member disposed between the cover member and the ring member, the circuit member including a plurality of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) electrically connected with the plurality of PCBs,
- wherein the plurality of PCBs include a photo-plethysmography (PPG) sensor including a first light source exposed through the first opening, a second light source exposed through the second opening, and a light receiving part exposed through the third opening, and
- wherein the light receiving part is configured to receive light emitted from at least one of the first light source or the second light source and reflected by a blood vessel inside a finger surrounded by the ring-type wearable device.
