Em logging tool employing wire tube interference mitigation

A deep reading electromagnetic logging tool comprising:

• a transmitter sub configured for deployment in a drill string, the transmitter sub including at least one electromagnetic transmitting antenna deployed on a transmitter sub body, the at least transmitting antenna configured to transmit electromagnetic energy into a surrounding environment;
• a receiver sub configured for deployment in a drill string, the receiver sub including at least one electromagnetic transmitting antenna deployed on a receiver sub body, the at least one receiver antenna configured to receive a complex voltage signal induced by the transmitted electromagnetic energy and thereby make electromagnetic logging measurements;
• an electrically conductive tube deployed in the receiver sub body and within an inner diameter of the at least one receiving antenna, a longitudinal axis of the tube coincident with a longitudinal axis of the receiver sub body;
• and
• an insulated electrical conductor deployed in the tube, the electrical conductor configured to transmit electronic data and/or electrical power from one axial end of the receiver sub body to an opposing axial end of the receiver sub body.

An electromagnetic logging tool comprising:

• a logging while drilling tool body;
• at least one electromagnetic receiving antenna deployed on the tool body, the at least one receiver antenna configured to receive a complex voltage signal and thereby make electromagnetic logging measurements;
• first and second electrically conductive, nonmagnetic inner and outer tubes deployed in the tool body and within an inner diameter of the at least one receiving antenna, a longitudinal axis of the inner tube coincident with a longitudinal axis of the tool body;
• and
• an insulated electrical conductor deployed in the inner tube, the electrical conductor configured to transmit electronic data and/or electrical power from one axial end of the tool body to an opposing axial end of the tool body.
