Abstract
A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a tractive element coupled to the chassis, an energy storage system supported by the chassis, a drive motor coupled to the tractive element and configured to receive electrical energy from the energy storage system and drive the tractive element to propel the refuse vehicle, a cab supported by the chassis, a refuse compartment supported by the chassis, a seat supported within an interior of the cab, a control console coupled to the seat and having a joystick, and a suspension supporting the seat and the control console so that a position of the control console relative to the seat is maintained.
Claims20
A refuse vehicle, comprising:
- a chassis;
- a tractive element coupled to the chassis;
- an energy storage system supported by the chassis;
- a drive motor coupled to the tractive element and configured to receive electrical energy from the energy storage system and drive the tractive element to propel the refuse vehicle;
- a cab supported by the chassis;
- a refuse compartment supported by the chassis;
- a seat supported within an interior of the cab;
- a control console coupled to the seat and having a joystick;
- and
- a suspension supporting the seat and the control console so that a position of the control console relative to the seat is maintained.
A refuse vehicle, comprising:
- a chassis;
- a tractive element coupled to the chassis;
- an energy storage system supported by the chassis;
- a drive motor coupled to the tractive element and configured to receive electrical energy from the energy storage system and drive the tractive element to propel the refuse vehicle;
- a cab supported the chassis;
- a refuse compartment supported by the chassis;
- and
- a seat assembly supported within an interior of the cab and including:
- a seat configured to support an operator of the refuse vehicle;
- a control console coupled to the seat and defining an armrest to support a portion of an arm of the operator supported by the seat;
- and
- a suspension supporting the seat and the control console so that a position of the control console relative to the seat is maintained.
A refuse vehicle, comprising:
- a chassis;
- a tractive element coupled to the chassis;
- an energy storage system supported by the chassis;
- a drive motor coupled to the tractive element and configured to receive electrical energy from the energy storage system and drive the tractive element to propel the refuse vehicle;
- a cab supported by the chassis;
- a refuse compartment supported by the chassis;
- a seat supported within an interior of the cab;
- and
- an armrest coupled to the seat such that the armrest moves responsive to movement of the seat, the armrest including:
- a joystick;
- and
- an armrest pad configured to cushion a portion of an arm of an operator supported by the seat, the armrest pad positioned between the joystick and a portion of the armrest coupled to the seat.
