Projection method and device

A projection method applied to a second device, the method comprising:

• determining a first player to be used by a first device when the second device initiates video projection, the first player being supported by the first device and is used in conjunction with a second player;
• receiving a projection operation performed on the second player;
• and
• sending a playing instruction, the playing instruction instructing the first device to play a projected video by using the first player.

A first device, the first device is a destination device during projection, the first device comprising:

• a display;
• one or more memories;
• and
• a memory storing instructions;
• and
• at least one processor in communication with the display and the memory, the at least one processor configured, upon execution of the instructions, to perform the following steps:
• determining a first player to be used by the first device when a second device initiates video projection, the first player being supported by the first device and is used in conjunction with a second player;
• receiving a playing instruction sent by the second device, the playing instruction being sent as triggered by an operation performed on a projection control of the second player of the second device, the playing instruction instructing the first device to play a projected video using the first player;
• and
• playing the projected video by using the first player according to the playing instruction.
