Abstract
A drying device includes a casing, a lock mechanism, a heating device, a controller, a detection device, and a disconnection mechanism. The casing includes a cover that can be opened and closed. The lock mechanism restricts the cover from being opened. The heating device is provided inside the casing, and raises a temperature when power is supplied. The controller controls power supply to the heating device, and an action of the lock mechanism. The detection device detects an unlocking action of the lock mechanism. The disconnection mechanism disconnects the power supply to the heating device, when the detection device detects the unlocking action.

A drying device comprising:
- a casing including a cover that can be opened and closed;
- a lock mechanism that restricts the cover from being opened;
- a heating device provided inside the casing, and configured to raise a temperature when power is supplied;
- a control device including a processor, and configured to act, when the processor executes a control program, as a controller that controls power supply to the heating device, and an action of the lock mechanism;
- a detection device that detects an unlocking action of the lock mechanism;
- and
- a disconnection mechanism that disconnects the power supply to the heating device, when the detection device detects the unlocking action.
