Abstract
Provided herein are bone hemostatic and adhesive compositions for use in surgical procedures comprising a variety of disclosed particles. Also provided are related compositions, including surgical hardware, surgical kits and packages, as well as methods of making and using the compositions.

A composition comprising:
- i) about 20% to about 40% of at least one polyurethane copolymer, based on the total weight of the composition;
- and
- ii) about 50% to about 75% of at least one particulate component, based upon the total weight of the composition, wherein the at least one particulate component comprises barium sulfate, beta tricalcium phosphate, hydroxyapatite, and calcium stearate,
- wherein the composition comprises about 0.5% to about 8.5% barium sulfate.

A composition comprising:
- i) about 20% to about 40% of at least one polyurethane copolymer, based on the total weight of the composition, wherein the at least one polyurethane copolymer comprises an ALD-PCL-BDO copolymer, an ALD-PCL-BDO-TEOA copolymer, or any combination thereof;
- and
- ii) about 50% to about 75% of at least one particulate component, based upon the total weight of the composition, wherein the at least one particulate component comprises barium sulfate, beta tricalcium phosphate, hydroxyapatite, and calcium stearate,
- wherein the composition comprises:
- a) about 0.5% to about 8.5% barium sulfate, based on the total weight of the composition;
- and
- b) about 0.2% to about 1% calcium stearate, based on the total weight of the composition
