A kit comprising:
- a mix-ready adjuvant composition comprising:
- 0.01% by weight to 5.0% by weight of microfibrillated cellulose (MFC);
- and
- a liquid carrier,
- wherein the mix-ready adjuvant composition is formed by subjecting the MFC, the liquid carrier, and the surfactant or dispersant to shear conditions comprising shearing the adjuvant composition using high shear conditions;
- and
- instructions for mixing a fertilizer or high ionic strength solution with the adjuvant, wherein the high ionic strength solution comprises at least 5% saturation of a functional ion.

A kit comprising:
- a composition consisting essentially of a microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) in an aqueous medium of glufosinate, glyphosate, 2, 4, D, or Dicamba, along with instructions for tank mixing the composition,
- wherein the composition is formed by subjecting the MFC to shear conditions comprising shearing the adjuvant composition using high shear conditions
