Abstract
A honeycomb structure supporting CO2 adsorbent includes: a honeycomb structure portion including partition walls extending from a first end surface to a second end surface and partitioning a plurality of cells which form fluid flow paths; and a layer of CO2 adsorbent covering at least a part of a surface of the partition walls, the layer of CO2 adsorbent including an alkali metal carbonate supported on a porous material containing one or more selected from zeolite, alumina, and silica, a total content of zeolite, alumina, and silica being 50% by mass or more in the porous material.
Claims15
A honeycomb structure supporting CO2 adsorbent, comprising:
- a honeycomb structure portion comprising partition walls extending from a first end surface to a second end surface and partitioning a plurality of cells which form fluid flow paths;
- and
- a layer of CO2 adsorbent covering at least a part of a surface of the partition walls, the layer of CO2 adsorbent comprising an alkali metal carbonate supported on a porous material containing one or more selected from zeolite, alumina, and silica, a total content of zeolite, alumina, and silica being 50% by mass or more in the porous material.
A method for manufacturing a honeycomb structure supporting CO2 adsorbent, comprising:
- a step A1 of preparing a honeycomb structure portion comprising partition walls extending from a first end surface to a second end surface and partitioning a plurality of cells which form fluid flow paths;
- a step A2 of preparing a CO2 adsorbent comprising an alkali metal carbonate supported on a porous material containing one or more selected from zeolite, alumina, and silica, a total content of zeolite, alumina, and silica being 50% by mass or more in the porous material;
- and
- a step A3 of covering at least a part of a surface of the partition walls with the CO2 adsorbent.
A method for manufacturing a honeycomb structure supporting CO2 adsorbent, comprising:
- a step B1 of preparing a honeycomb structure portion comprising partition walls extending from a first end surface to a second end surface and partitioning a plurality of cells which form fluid flow paths;
- a step B2 of preparing a porous material containing one or more selected from zeolite, alumina, and silica, a total content of zeolite, alumina, and silica being 50% by mass or more in the porous material;
- a step B3 of covering at least a part of a surface of the partition walls with the porous material;
- and
- a step B4 of supporting an alkali metal carbonate on the porous material covering at least a part of the surface of the partition walls.
