A filtering device for the extraction of a beverage, comprising a tubular body and a support for housing a filter on which a powder product is positioned, wherein the filtering device provides a chamber for containing a liquid external to said tubular body, provided with a bottom positioned at a height higher than the height of said filter and fluidically connected to said tubular body by means of a plurality of through holes (16, 16′, 16″) which allow the passage by gravity of said liquid from said chamber to said tubular body and therefore to said powder product, said chamber also being annular and disposed around said tubular body.
