Abstract
Described are nutritional beverages, including frozen nutritional beverages made using frozen particles that contain fruit or vegetable constituent, and diluted (fluid) nutritional beverages containing the frozen particles and liquid; also described are relate methods of preparing, storing, and consuming the frozen nutritional beverages and the diluted nutritional beverages.

A method of preparing a nutritional beverage product, method comprising:
- providing:
- raw fruit constituent containing at least 90 weight percent pulp and juice of fruit, or
- raw vegetable constituent containing at least 90 weight percent pulp or juice of vegetable, or
- a combination of both;
- blending the fruit constituent, vegetable constituent, or combination;
- placing the blended fruit constituent, vegetable constituent, or combination, in a container;
- freezing the blended fruit constituent, vegetable constituent, or combination, in the container to form a frozen piece;
- forming frozen particles from the frozen piece by use of an ice shaving machine, the particles having an average size less than 5 millimeters;
- placing the frozen particles in a container with void space between the frozen particles, and
- adding liquid to the container, the liquid having a temperature in a range from 5 to 20 degrees Celsius.
