The method includes: starting, by a controller, a pump control mode; measuring, by a sensor, a differential pressure at a filter connected to a pump; determining, by the controller, whether the differential pressure is greater than a first predetermined value; upon determining that the differential pressure is greater than the first predetermined value, determining whether the differential pressure is greater than a second predetermined value, wherein the second predetermined value is greater than the first predetermined value; and upon determining that the differential pressure is less than or equal to the second predetermined value, generating a first output.
