Energy Saving in Communications Network

A first base station comprising:

• one or more processors;
• memory storing instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the first base station to:
• receive, from a second base station, energy information associated with deactivation of a cell of the first base station;
• and
• based on the energy information satisfying a condition, send, to the second base station, an indication associated with deactivation of the cell of the first base station.

A second base station comprising:

• one or more processors;
• memory storing instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the second base station to:
• send, to a first base station, energy information associated with deactivation of a cell of the first base station;
• and
• based on the energy information satisfying a condition, receive, from the first base station, an indication associated with deactivation of the cell of the first base station.
