Abstract
The invention relates to an actuator, optionally for an exoskeleton, comprising a motor for providing speed and force to a reduction assembly; a two-stage reduction assembly comprising an input pulley and an output pulley; the two-stage reduction assembly configured to perform a speed reduction and a force increment; where the motor, the input pulley and the output pulley are coaxially located and/or in the same plane and/or inside each other within the actuator.
Claims20
An actuator, comprising:
- a. at least one motor for providing a first speed and a first force to at least one reduction assembly;
- and
- b. at least one two-stage reduction assembly comprising at least one input pulley and at least one output pulley;
- said at least one two-stage reduction assembly configured to perform a speed reduction in said first speed and a force increment in said force received from said at least one motor,
- wherein said at least one motor, said at least one input pulley and said at least one output pulley are inside each other within said actuator.
