Abstract
System and techniques for audio enhancement processing for both electronically delivered audio signals and ambient sound. Ambient sound processing includes audio enhancement processing of signals captured by ambient microphones communicatively coupled to an audio enhancement processing apparatus as well as media provided by a storage device. Audio enhancement processing is provided for a user utilizing an electronic device that is directly or indirectly communicatively coupled to accessory microphones.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a plurality of microphones;
- an audio output device;
- and
- an audio subsystem, configured to:
- receive microphone data from each of the plurality of microphones;
- determine one or more sound sources from the microphone data, wherein the determining the one or more sound sources comprises:
- determining locations for each of the one or more sound sources relative to an electronic device associated with the audio subsystem;
- and
- determining associated sounds from the microphone data for each of the one or more sound sources;
- tune at least one of the associated sounds;
- and
- output the tuned sounds to the audio output device.

- receive microphone data from each of a plurality of microphones;
- determine one or more sound sources from the microphone data, wherein the determining the one or more sound sources comprises:
