Abstract
A method for simulating charging and discharging behavior of a secondary battery may include simulating the charging and discharging behavior of the secondary battery through electrochemical modeling; and correcting the simulation results from the electrochemical modeling by applying hysteresis modeling to the simulation results.

A method for simulating charging and discharging behavior of a secondary battery, the method comprising:
- simulating the charging and discharging behavior of the secondary battery through electrochemical modeling;
- and
- correcting simulation results from the electrochemical modeling by applying hysteresis modeling to the simulation results.
