Non-Fungible Tokens with Enhanced Metadata

A tangible, non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed, cause at least one processor to perform a set of operations comprising:

• receiving, by an application of a computing system, a request for a user to access a feature of the application, wherein the request refers to a non-fungible token (NFT) stored in a cryptographic database and an address of the user in relation to the cryptographic database, wherein a second application of a second computing system caused the NFT to be entered into the cryptographic database;
• in response to receiving the request, determining, by the application, that the address of the user holds the NFT by reading one or more blocks of entries stored in the cryptographic database;
• and
• in response to determining that the address of the user holds the NFT, unlocking, by the application, access to the feature of the application for the user.

A computing device comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• a tangible, non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform a set of operations comprising:
• receiving, by an application of a computing system, a request for a user to access a feature of the application, wherein the request refers to a non-fungible token (NFT) stored in a cryptographic database and an address of the user in relation to the cryptographic database, wherein a second application of a second computing system caused the NFT to be entered into the cryptographic database;
• in response to receiving the request, determining, by the application, that the address of the user holds the NFT by reading one or more blocks of entries stored in the cryptographic database;
• and
• in response to determining that the address of the user holds the NFT, unlocking, by the application, access to the feature of the application for the user.
