Abstract
A profile rail for a floor of a vehicle has a base made of a first material and a top portion exposed during use of the profile rail in the floor of the vehicle. The top portion has a cold sprayed coating of a second material that is at least one of harder, more wear-resistant, or less corrosive as the first material. The top portion has a seat rail crown having a first hook element produced entirely from the second material.

A profile rail for a floor of a vehicle, the profile rail comprising:
- a base made of a first material;
- and
- a top portion exposed during use of the profile rail in the floor of the vehicle,
- wherein the top portion comprises a cold sprayed coating of a second material that is at least one of harder, more wear-resistant, or less corrosive as the first material,
- wherein the top portion comprises a seat rail crown having a first hook element produced entirely from the second material.
