Abstract
A fence for power equipment is disclosed. The fence includes a moveable faceplate and at least one clamping mechanism to hold the faceplate in a desired position. The clamping mechanism includes a handle that rotates to clamp and unclamp the faceplate. The handle uses a sloped or cam surface to create a pulling force to clamp the faceplate in position. The handle can be rotated by hand without the use of tools.

A fence for power equipment, the fence comprising:
- an elongate main body;
- a bar associated with the main body;
- a faceplate configured for movement along the bar;
- and
- a clamping mechanism to secure the faceplate in a desired position on the bar, where the clamping mechanism includes a lever configured to be pivoted by hand without the use of tools from a first position where the faceplate is released and free to move along the bar to a second position where the faceplate is secured and held in the desired position on the bar.
