Modular air filter assembly

A modular filter assembly comprising:

• a tube extending along a central axis from a first end to a second end and configured to receive a filter;
• an end cap at the first end of the tube;
• an outlet cap at the second end of the tube, the outlet cap including an outlet and a flange, wherein the flange extends radially outward from the outlet cap relative to the central axis, wherein the flange defines a plurality of holes;
• a plurality of protrusions extending radially inward from an interior surface of the tube, each protrusion of the plurality of protrusions including a fastener hole;
• and
• a mounting assembly including:
• a first bracket,
• a second bracket, the second bracket defining an aperture sized and shaped to receive an inlet, and
• two or more supports fastenable to an exterior surface of one or more of the first bracket and the second bracket;
• wherein the plurality of holes of the flange are arranged along the flange so that the plurality of holes is alignable with the plurality of fastener holes of the protrusions.

A modular filter assembly comprising:

• a filter chamber;
• a tube extending along a central axis from a first end to a second end and configured to receive a filter;
• an end cap fastenable to the first end of the tube in a plurality of radial orientations;
• an outlet cap fastenable to the second end of the tube in a plurality of radial orientations;
• an inlet cap fastenable to the tube in a first configuration, in which air within the filter chamber circulates in a counter-clockwise direction, and a second configuration, in which air within the filter chamber circulates in a clockwise direction;
• and
• a mounting assembly including a plurality of brackets;
• wherein each of the (i) radial orientation of the outlet cap relative to the central axis, the (ii) radial orientation of the end cap relative to the central axis, and the (iii) radial orientation of the inlet relative to the central axis is independent of each of other.
